The Mac panel can no longer be dragged too small to use. Below 640×480 the status bar and the formatting bar started colliding. That is the floor now, and Reset Window Size in the list's right-click menu puts an oversized panel back.
The note list can be wider on the Mac. Settings › Appearance › Interface Details offers Compact, Standard, Wide and Extra Wide, so long note names stop truncating. Translated titles run longer than English ones and the old fixed width cut them off. The list gives space back to the editor when the panel is small, and hovering a note now shows its full name. Right- click the list to change the width without opening Settings, or to reset the panel to its original size.
